ABOUT US

The Cal Student Leadership Symposium is a premier day–long student coordinated conference. At the Symposium students can engage with and learn from faculty, staff, alumni, community members, and other students.  In previous years the Leadership Symposium has brought together diverse student leaders from the UC Berkeley campus, from colleges across California and as far as Mexico.

This year’s theme is: Picture the Leader in You.

We believe everyone has what it takes to lead. We recognize the difference between leadership styles, and we hope the Leadership Symposium can provide our participants with new insights into developing their unique leadership style, equip them with essential leadership skills, and outline the principles for inspiring, motivating and influencing others. Through this we can enable students to become successful leaders in any organization and bring positive social change to our community.

Leadership Symposium Planning Committee

The Leadership Symposium Planning Committee is a student run organization dedicated to creating an amazing forum where students, faculty, and alumni, come together to inspire leaders in their community. We have amazing advisors helping us along the way as we organize and set goals each year for a spectacular conference. Each chair works to develop each aspect of Symposium to ensure it is an experience for all who attend. Our mission is to inspire future leaders in their professions as well as in their community.
